The listed façade of this period property was delicately retained whilst the single storey interior was reconstructed with the addition of a mezzanine floor and rear lightwell yard. The ground floor was lowered and the rear boundary wall needed strengthening in its new higher unrestrained state. The new staircase was unusual as its structure comprised a CNC cut plywood carcass that was clad over with finishes and formed a support to the steel framed balustrading.
